Nadia Malik

Nadia Malik, co-founder of Malik Semmens, LLC, is a trial lawyer who represents businesses and individuals in high-stakes litigation. Nadia handles a variety of litigation matters, but focuses her practice on business disputes, providing comprehensive litigation support and guidance to her clients in the areas of partnership and shareholder disputes, operating agreement and other breach of contract matters, and fraud cases.

For the first 14 years of practice, Nadia honed her litigation skills at the Denver office of an international law firm, learning from and practicing with some of the best lawyers in the country. During this time, Nadia gained experience in all phases of litigation, practiced in a culture of excellence, and developed a client-centric approach to the practice of law.

After 14 years at the same firm, Nadia opened her own law firm, Malik Legal Solutions, to offer her services to a wider client base. Nadia’s philosophy of efficiently litigating cases, creative problem solving, and effective trial advocacy at affordable rates proved to be a successful approach to practicing law and led to the need to join with other like-minded attorneys to handle the demand for services. Nadia is now pleased to offer the same top-notch legal representation through Malik Semmens.

Nadia regularly practices in Colorado state and federal courts, and has tried cases in a variety of forums, from administrative courts to district courts. Nadia is also a strong supporter of pro bono representation and has a history of community involvement. Nadia served on the Board of Trustees for the North American South Asian Bar Association (“NASABA”) from 2014-2016. And, in 2009, she was the recipient of the John C. Benson Pro Bono Award. In 2015, she again received pro bono recognition with the Baker Benson Pro Bono Award.

Nadia played competitive basketball, and she brings her competitiveness and team approach to her legal practice. Nadia also co-owned a restaurant with her brother and thus has a unique insight into the business world and what business leaders want and need from their lawyer.

Finally, when not working, Nadia enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters, cheering on Colorado sports teams, and remaining undefeated at H-O-R-S-E on her home court in her backyard.
